This round window represents
what should be close to our hearts since it is the center of our Faith.
The whole Sixth Chapter of St. John's Gospel recounts Jesus' promise
of the Holy Eucharist. So central is this Sacrement was very forceful
in requiring our belief in the Real Presence. "Unless you eat
My Flesh and drink My Blood you cannot have life in you." Seldom
does Jesus speak so forcefully and use the word "UNLESS".
It seemed most appropriate to have this stained glass window of the
Chalice and Host over the Tabernacle in a most prominate place.
