THE WOMAN AT THE WELL

This is the first window on the left side of the Church as you face the Altar. The familiar passage of St. John's Gospel tells us of Jesus as the Teacher, Jesus as the 'Fisher of men', Jesus as the convert maker, Jesus as the Confessor. Jesus asked for a drink to give "Living Water" of Grace which is necessary for the Spiritual Life and which makes those who receive it Apostles, Missionaries, and Ministers of the Gospel. The woman told those in her town, "He told me everything I have done" - and she brought people to Jesus.
